The waiver wire

Completed seasons only, 2023–2025. Waivers here are by priority, not bids: a claim goes through if nobody ahead of you in the order wanted the same player. Sleeper settles every claim in one run, and in 2023–2025 that run has come every Wed between 3:00 AM and 3:05 AM Eastern.

Claims won and lost

"Lost to priority" is a claim someone ahead in the order also made; "roster full" is a claim with no drop attached that Sleeper rejected. Win rate is won over all claims placed. Two claims by one manager on the same player in the same week count once, and a spare claim on a player he won himself does not count as a loss.

How this is counted, and which seasons

Who picks players up between 3:00 and 4:59 AM Eastern, when everyone should be asleep. The time is when the manager acted: a free-agent pickup as it happened, or the moment a waiver claim was placed, never the time Sleeper ran the waivers. The catch: in 2023–2025 the waivers ran every Wed between 3:00 AM and 3:05 AM, so a Wednesday 3-something pickup may be someone up for the opening of the wire. "At the wire" counts the 3–5 AM pickups made within 30 minutes of that run; the rest were just awake. "Latest" is the pickup furthest into the night, counting midnight to 5:59 AM.

How this is counted, and which seasons

Optimal is the most your roster could have scored that week with the best legal lineup (QB RB RB WR WR TE FLEX K DEF), using every position Sleeper's player file lists for each player today (its fantasy positions, not the one slot he was drafted at). A player listed at two positions, such as Travis Hunter at DB and WR, can fill a slot for either and is placed wherever the total is highest. A slot is left empty when every eligible player would score below zero, since an empty slot scores 0. Efficiency is what you scored divided by that. "Blown" is a loss where your optimal lineup would have beaten the opponent's actual score; "escaped" is a win where theirs would have beaten yours. Every game, 2023–2026, playoff bracket and consolation games included.
